Benefits for Families
We understand the crucial role families play in their children's education, and Canvas helps strengthen this connection. Through the Canvas for Parents app or website, parents can monitor their child's academic progress, view assignments, and stay informed about school activities. This seamless access to information ensures that parents can support their children's learning journey more effectively. Additionally, Canvas supports 28 languages, helping families who may not be fluent in English to get involved in their child's learning process.
A Unified Learning Experience
Canvas brings all aspects of the educational experience into one central location. No more juggling multiple apps or websites—everything you need is now accessible through Canvas. This integration simplifies the learning process, making it more cohesive and less fragmented.
Middle School Transition to Canvas
From August 13th, Middle School students will receive their iPads with the Canvas application ready to use. All teachers will assist students in getting acquainted with the platform. From day one, Middle School will have their entire learning experience through Canvas, as we will no longer use Schoology. Parents can follow their progress in real-time through the app or the website, ensuring they stay informed and involved.
Canvas for Lower Grades
For our younger students, each teacher will communicate with parents differently and will be incorporating Canvas throughout the school year. This gradual implementation will ensure a smooth transition and allow for tailored support based on the unique needs of each class.
