Spanish Class: Bienvenidos!

Welcome to Spanish class! Speaking other languages gives ONLY benefits, including the skill to communicate with more people, to understand the enriching aspects of other societies, and to stay competitive in a world of globalization.

In order to enhance our foreign language program, this school year (2022-2023) we will continue with Middle School students mid-term and final exams for Spanish.

I highly recommend for all the students to practice at home and refresh vocabulary with the Duolingo app (free).

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me at: bolado@blessedtrinitycatholicschool.org

WHAT IS PE GOING TO LOOK LIKE THIS YEAR?

  1. ALL STUDENTS (VPK – 8th) should WEAR THEIR PE UNIFORM TO SCHOOL on their scheduled PE days.
  2. All students MUST bring a water bottle to class that is labeled with their name.

WHAT WILL STUDENTS DO IN PE THIS YEAR?

Students will be participating in stations or games to help teach or refine skills needed to actively and successfully participate in the following sports: volleyball, soccer, softball, and basketball.  Students in grades PK – 4th grade will primarily use stations to learn and refine skills while students in 5th – 8th grade will engage in either a modified version or full version of the sport.

I look forward to teaching your child and being active with our EAGLES!

Music Rules

Make good choices

Use kind words

Show respect

Involve yourself

Care for our room and instruments

Classroom Management Policy

Students are expected to stay in their assigned (and socially distanced) spot for the majority of class, unless we are doing a movement activity. If a student is in violation of the Music rules, he/she gets one warning. The second warning, the student must take some time to regroup in the “rest area” which is by the risers. If there is a third warning, the student will be sent to the office and will be reflected in his/her music grade.

Happy Notes!

Every class, I will choose two or three students whose behavior and participation stood out and they will receive a happy note! (Every student in every class will receive a happy note before the end of the school year.)

Welcome to the art room!  This school year students will be creating art through the EASE Curriculum, Exploring Art Supplies through Environments.  This curriculum focuses on art skills while exploring artistic abilities through different art mediums.  Students will express themselves authentically and have fun in the creative process.

Students are expected to follow art room procedures and classroom expectations.  I look forward to a successful, creative school year!
